前幾年豬肉價格持續(xù)低迷，但今年豬肉價格上漲，達到歷史新高�；仡欀袊�近年來的豬肉價格波動，大家發(fā)現(xiàn)存在一個明顯的豬周期。

豬周期（hog cycle），也可以叫做pork cycle，是一種經(jīng)濟現(xiàn)象（economic phenomenon），指價高傷民，價賤傷農(nóng)的周期性提供和價格波動（cyclical fluctuations2 of supply and prices）怪圈。該詞1925年最早出目前美國。

梳理近期15年的豬價變化，大致有5個豬周期。從波峰來看，分別出目前2001、2004、2008、2011年和今年。豬周期的循環(huán)軌跡一般是：肉價上漲母豬存欄量（numbers of sows on hand）大增生豬提供增加肉價下跌很多淘汰母豬生豬提供降低肉價上漲。一個完整的豬周期一般在2-3年左右。
